“Dedicate a child to the way he should go, and even when he becomes old, he will not turn away from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Sunday School theme: Words of Wonder

Sunday School is joyfully provided each Sunday at Calvary to assist parents in strengthening their children’s faith in Jesus.

Who can attend?

Children of all ages are welcome to attend. We have classes for ALL ages - 6 months through 8th grade, part of Family Bible Hour.

What is involved?

Each Sunday the children have:

o   Music time

o   Bible Story time

o   Craft or extracurricular activities

Each month the children will have:

o   An opportunity to sing praises of thanks to Jesus, their Savior from sin, when they sing a song during the Sunday morning worship service. Children are also encouraged to participate in weekly singing within the service, but once a month they get to lead their own hymn.

o Once a year at Christmas the children will lead the Christmas Eve service with hymns and verses from scripture.

Where do they meet?

At approximately 10:15AM families meet in the Sanctuary for a Sunday School opening. After music time they will go with their teachers to their classrooms. At about 11:15AM (end of Bible Class) parents pick up their children from the classrooms.

What do parents do during Sunday School?

While the child(ren) are in Sunday School parents are encouraged strengthen their faith and attend Bible Class.

"Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 EHV
