Sunday School Theme: Words of Wonder
Calvary Lutheran Church joyfully offers Sunday School for children from birth through age 13 as part of our Family Bible Hour (August–May), designed to support parents in nurturing their child’s faith in Jesus.
Who Can Attend?
Children of all ages are welcome! We provide age-appropriate classes for infants through 8th grade during our Family Bible Hour.
What Happens Each Sunday?
Children enjoy a joyful mix of:
- Music time
- Bible story lessons
- Crafts and engaging activities
Monthly & Seasonal Highlights:
Each month, the children’s choir shares a hymn during worship as a special expression of praise. They may also join in weekly singing with the congregation. On Christmas Eve, they lead our evening service through Scripture and song—a cherished tradition!
Where & When:
Families begin at 10:30 AM in the sanctuary for a shared devotion and hymn with Pastor. Children then head to their classrooms with teachers. Parents may pick them up at 11:30 AM at the close of Family Bible Hour.
What About Parents?
While children are in Sunday School, parents are warmly encouraged to attend the Adult Bible Class to grow in faith alongside their kids.
“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” – Matthew 19:14 (EHV)
