Christeens
ChrisTeens is the lutheran teen ministry Chandler AZ at Calvary Lutheran Church, open to all 8th-12th graders (ages 13-18), grounded in God’s Word, and focused on growth, service, and joyful fellowship. Our 2025 theme is “Equipped to Serve”.
Our Mission
As an extension of Calvary Lutheran Church, ChrisTeens exists to:
- Grow, Strengthen young Christians in their faith through study of the Word
- Glorify, Use God-given gifts to worship and honor our Savior
- Go, Be equipped to live out and share the Gospel with confidence and love
Purpose & Goals
Through our ministry, we strive to nurture:
- Fellowship, Building Christ-centered friendships and community

ChrisTeens meets Sunday mornings during Family Bible Hour (August-May) and hosts fun, faith-filled events every quarter. Lutheran Youth Ministry in Chandler, AZ
Calvary ChrisTeens is the high school youth ministry of Calvary Lutheran Church in Chandler, AZ. We believe the teenage years are a critical time for faith formation, and our program is designed to give young people a strong, lasting foundation in God’s Word while also building friendships that support their walk with Christ.
What We Do
ChrisTeens meets regularly throughout the school year for Bible study, worship, community service projects, and social events. From retreats and mission trips to game nights and service days, there is always something happening for our teens. Our goal is to make faith relevant and real for every high schooler in our congregation and community.
Rooted in Faith, Equipped to Serve
Our youth ministry theme, “Equipped to Serve”, reflects our conviction that every young person has a role to play in God’s Kingdom. Whether volunteering locally, participating in a national youth gathering, or simply encouraging a friend in faith, our teens are equipped and encouraged to live out their Lutheran faith in everyday life.
