Music has always been a central part of Lutheran worship, and at Calvary Lutheran Church in Chandler, AZ our choir ministry carries on that rich tradition. Whether you’re an experienced singer or simply love to worship through song, our choir is a welcoming community of faith united in praising God.
Our choir leads worship during Sunday services and special occasions throughout the church year — from Advent and Christmas to Holy Week and Easter — filling our sanctuary with voices lifted to the glory of God.
What the Choir Does
🎶 Sunday Worship
The choir sings an anthem during select Sunday morning worship services, leading the congregation in heartfelt praise.
✝️ Special Services
The choir plays a special role in Christmas Eve, Good Friday, Easter, and other high-point services throughout the church year.
🤝 Fellowship
Beyond rehearsals, our choir members build deep friendships and share in the life of the congregation together.
Join the Choir
No audition is required to join our choir — just a willing heart and a love of worship through music. We welcome all voice types and experience levels. If you can commit to weekly rehearsals and a genuine desire to serve through song, we’d love to have you.
- Rehearsals: Wednesday evenings before Bible class
- Requirement: Love of music and willingness to serve
- Open to: All adults and older teens
