Children & Youth Ministry at Calvary Lutheran Church Chandler
At Calvary Lutheran Church in Chandler, AZ, we believe that faith formation starts early. Our children and youth ministries are designed to meet kids where they are — from toddlers taking their first steps to teenagers preparing for adult life — and walk with them in God’s Word every step of the way.
Whether your child is just starting Sunday School or your teen is ready for Confirmation, we have a place for them here at Calvary.
Our Children & Youth Programs
Sunday School
Bible-based learning every Sunday morning for children ages 3–12. Kids explore God’s Word through stories, crafts, and song in a safe, welcoming environment.
Confirmation Class
A two-year journey in Lutheran doctrine for middle school students, deepening their understanding of Scripture and preparing them for a public confession of faith.
ChrisTeens
Our high school youth group for 8th–12th graders. ChrisTeens meets for fellowship, service projects, and growing together in faith.
Vacation Bible School
Every summer, Calvary hosts Vacation Bible School (VBS) — a free, week-long program for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade. VBS is packed with Bible stories, worship songs, crafts, games, and more. All children in the East Valley are welcome, regardless of church membership.

We’d love for your children to be part of our family at Calvary Lutheran. All programs are open to children in the Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa, and surrounding East Valley area — no church membership required to get started.
